Boreland is an organic sheep farm offering farmhouse bed and breakfast
accommodation and farm holidays set in the rolling hills 10 miles
north of Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway, SW Scotland. Our farm is managed to
strict organic standards & has achieved full organic status this year.
The farm has 365 acres of pasture with a flock
of 550 sheep, producing prime and breeding lambs, alongside our
small beef herd of Galloway cattle.The river Cairn runs through the farm on the
edge of our hay meadow, offering free trout and salmon fishing to our bed and
breakfast guests.
"Pets" round the farm yard include hens, goats, horses, a Jersey cow, dogs and
cats.
