We are located between Dunscore and Moniaive on a small road by the river Cairn
aprox. 12 miles north of Dumfries town.

The family run upland farm allows visitors to experience a variety of farm activities and caters well for younger guests who are made very welcome. There is plenty of room for playing in the gardens and many animals to see around the farm.

There is free fishing on the river Cairn
(when in season).
The river is easily accessible by foot.

There are plenty of good eating-places in the area and Dumfries is only a 25 min. drive

Boreland farm is an ideal Centre for a relaxing, touring or activity holiday.

We offer a comfortable en-suite (shower & bath) rooms with their own private access,
sleeping up to 6 guests in the family room and double, twin and single rooms also available.

The farm has plenty of safe parking.

The price includes a full cooked Scottish breakfast at a time of your choice.

Double/Twin en-suite (2 sharing) £30.00 per person (£60.00 total) accommodation & breakfast.

Single en-suite - £38.00 per night for accommodation & breakfast.


Special rates for children sharing Family Room with 2 adults:

We charge £1 per year of age
e.g. 2 years = £2, 7 years = £7, 12 years = £12, etc
